I am very excited to Chair this year's RBC Race for the Kids at Comer Children's Hospital on Oct 6!  

Since I joined the board in 2019, I have been in awe of the dedication of our board memebers and staff in the ways that they ensure that gifts made to this race make a difference in the lives of kids at the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital by providing patient care services and physician-scientists with the resources to conduct potentially life-saving research.

Having been a researcher and knowing how difficult it is get grant money makes me especially grateful that the money raised not only improves the lives of children at Comer's now but will continue to improve their medical outcomes in the future as new scientific advances will lead to better medical care.
