Hi! As many of you know, I’m on the Comer Development Board at the U of C Comer Children’s Hospital. Every year we have a Bright Night Benefit. Due to Covid-19, we cannot meet in person this year, so we are fundraising through crowdfunding, which means we are reaching out to our personal networks across the U.S. to raise funds for Comer Children’s.

The Bright Night Benefit: Crowdfund for Comer Children’s raises money for pediatric support and care programs. This fundraiser will fund things like the Safe Travel program, which provides care seats for families in need; the Shadow Buddies program which distributes special dolls to children undergoing serious treatments to help them identify and relate to their situation; and the Comer Family Support Program which provides focused assistance to families whose children are admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or have lengthy inpatient stays due to challenging treatments.
