Every November, the Treasury team at Liberty Media leads an office-wide push to raise funds and awareness for health and cancer research.

This year we are highlighting another tremendous institution, the University of Chicago's Head and Neck Cancer Department that is actively treating someone close to Derek Chang, our CEO, and his wife Katherine. This is the same institution that helped Michelin Star chef Grant Achatz in 2007, saving his tongue and his career from stage 4 tongue cancer. 

We want to inform everyone of UofC's leading, innovative chemotherapy and surgical treatments for this disease, it?s expert staff including Dr. Elizabeth Blair, and offer a PSA on the importance of your local dentist in the identification and prevention of this type of cancer.
