Welcome to Hayden Barry's Personal Page

I'm swimming from Grosse Pointe, Michigan USA to Windsor, Ontario Canada to support the Ted Mullin Fund at the University Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital. Ted Mullin was on the swim team at Carleton College, and was diagnosed with Sarcoma his sophomore year and passed away his senior year. The Ted Mullin Fund was established in his honor to support research at the University of Chicago Hospital.
While on the D1 swimming and diving team at Dartmouth College, I participated in the Hour of Power, which is a one-hour, all-out, leave-it-in-the-pool practice consisting of continuous relays. This was Ted's favorite practice. 165 teams on average complete the Hour of Power each year to raise awareness for Sarcoma and support research. Through completing this practice for three years, I was inspired to continue supporting the Ted Mullin Fund postgrad and achieve my goal of swimming from the United States to Canada!
I will be completing my swim on the morning of July 19, 2025! You can follow my instagram @haydenbarryy for updates during my swim
Gifts of any size will help us reach our fundraising goal, and your support would mean a lot to me personally. Thank you!
