Dear Family and Friends, 

I am proud to be fundraising again for the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital Pediatric Gastroenterology Family Fund.

Growing up with Crohn's Disease, being treated at University of Chicago Hospital, and as a clinical social worker specializing in helping young children and families, this fund has special meaning. 

It’s with this Peds GI Family Fund that we provide support to financially marginal families with children hospitalized with GI illnesses. Donations provide gas cards, uber cards, and parking passes to support transportation to the hospital for parents, gift cards for nearby food and groceries for family members during long visits, and other support that facilitates family members being active in their child’s care and healing.

Each summer we host a Bowl-A-Thon family, friends, and community members. If you are in the Chicago area, please join us for bowling, pizza, treats, and a celebration of fundraising for the Peds GI Family Fund. Everyone is welcome! There will be lanes for adults and bumper lanes for children. There is NO minimum donation to attend.
